The “Dominatrix™”, a hybrid BATT™ Prepolish/DIAMATRIX™ Polish Lap does have some unique conditions. The unique conditions are BATT/3K (Or 8K) pre-polish has been accepted to the point of being a defacto standard for pre-polish. As of this date, 8,178 BATT™ is in use for varying applications, including polishing, pre-polishing, and cutting. So it is a safe guess that a thousand of them are being used for pre-polishing. It works. Everyone knows it works. There is no guessing here.

The DIAMATRIX™ has been accepted and proven for a couple of years now. A hardened version of the MATRIX™ it is superior for the harder stones and has been routinely used in Moissanite production. It can be used with oxides for quartzes and softer stones as well.
